Guaranteed Hire Car and Van
Even if your car insurance includes a courtesy car, normally the insurer does not supply a courtesy car in the event of your car being a total loss or your car being stolen.
If you struggle to manage without a car for work, family commitments etc you can purchase a guaranteed Hire Car Policy.
So that in the event of a claim you will have the use of a hire car for up to 14 days.
The same applies to van insurance, the insurer does not usually supply a courtesy van in the event of a total loss or theft.
